Pink Skies Poem by J.C. Masa

Pink Skies

I saw a pink sky today—
it made me realize there are many contrasts to your rays.
You guide me along the right path
and give me warmth when I'm astray.

You're the first and last thing I think about every day,
Even if you're the only one who departed, yet somehow stayed.

As I always say, you are my heart in human form;
When the long day fades, our restless hearts find rest—
Until the light returns, this love adjourns.
