Pint -Sized Heaven Poem by Mary Thomas

Pint -Sized Heaven

Heard the beat of heaven
in the march of the heart
through the ultrasound.

The pinch sized heart
in bits and bytes
opened up a shut -locked window
to infinite possibilities

The touch of soft newly minted skin.
The smile, the squeals of laughter,
The deep thinker pouts.
Myriad of emotions criss-crossing
the scape of the face.

heaven in your arms.
