Play - Poem by Livi Green
I found myself wondering what does it take to be in your arms?
i try to wear make-up you spoke to me for awhile
so i try to wear clothes that weren't me
you started to come a little closer to me
so i do my hair
you ask me out
you tell me what i want to hear
as i let you touch my body
i let you pull off my clothes and let down my hair
just for a moment it felt so real
i wanted more than your love
but as time goes by you never called
my body was used and played
i was your toy
i pretended to be something im not
just for a moment i was the girl you wanted to chase
but as i gave in.
your in someone elses arms
GO! JUST LEAVE!
i hate you! your worthless to me
just for a moment i hated myself
just for a moment i was played
im nothing but the girl you played
just for a moment
i wanted to be the girl who admired you from afar
so do what you will
i dont want to drag you down
cause you got what you want in that moment that i was a foul...
