Playing In The Dark Poem by Omoekun IluNla

Playing In The Dark

Playing in the Dark!

So far is home from cold harsh reality
Miles and miles have reduced our enlargement
Our veils have been covered by the clouds
Yet our mails roam the ends worlds
Searching for endless reckless opportunities
Like a beeves we sing our clans requiem
The sweet melody of national ineptness
Over the seas age is for the hoary
In my village feebleness starts at forty

So soon as we set sail for Newfoundland
The vampires dug their death across the desert
Ravaging many opium joints beyond repairs
Wonder if this is what we are taking to the show
Unveiling to the world our newest creation
The device of which no one knows the control
Rumors even has it that the veterans know the codes
Whichever way, shame! Shame! ! Shame! ! !
Behind we are left to play in the gloomy!
