Plea, For Music Poem by Kai Leah

Plea, For Music

Bobbing heads as the beat hit.

Struck like lightning.

Feels good in the cerebrum.

Involuntarily movements, a cacophony of individual muscles dancing in accordance.

We express how we feel yet we never feel enough. I feel lost in music; it's too loud inside my thoughts.

I'll drown it out like strangling the dead. My hand wraps around Death's throat, listening to death throes - I'm on death row.
