Please - Poem by Robin O'Keeffe
show me what is behind your eyes
When they darken
and look away -
May I follow?
May I hold the thought that like a crystal teardrop
To seize it would be death.
But at one glance from you
I venture in
A thousand sorrows
distilled in one tear
In one moment hung between us
In an eternity of hope.
