Please Forgive Me Society Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Please Forgive Me Society

Please forgive me society
For never fitting in
Just a shapeless parallel of a person
Never revolving around a sphere

Oh, society, what have I done?
Just an adult lifeform of a different proximity
Amidst the fortitude of an open air abundance
Always thriving on the run

So what if I do not always make sense
Senseless acts at time can be fun
Is there a rule to how we should all be?
Well, consider me a criminal if so

This type is invisible
None to be seen
Never anyone’s limited dream
Endless is all I want to achieve

Never forgive me society
I have never fit in
This soul is mine

Accept me world
My heart is yours to win

I may not be a desirable cliché
But I am proudly my own Man

You can forget me society
My own life truly respects me for where I have been

I have never found any differences
They were always blessed in me

Society, Forgive me not
I am fine, with my own mind
Upon this enigmatic design
That is what I truly believe, freed

My spirit is shapeless
In a universe of my own freewill

Society, There are too many differences between you and me
