Please Keep Your Hand Out Of My Love-Jar Poem by Bradley Lester

Please Keep Your Hand Out Of My Love-Jar

Please take your hand away
You've taken far too much
My love-jars kinda empty
From your hungry, selfish touch

I need to fill the jar again
I'm not sure if I should
Or rather should I leave it be
I'm not sure if I could

You took and took and took
The lid remained one side
I gave unselfishly most times
My love I didnt hide

So keep your hand away
Dont dare you take some more
The lid is closed and sealed
What's left is mine to store
