“Abang, ”
I guessed it’s too late
To brag about colour-blindness
In this multi-cultural setting
It was so not interesting.
“Tai-ko, ”
We have been eating
Nasi lemak, char kway teow
Thosai and chapatti for God sake,
More than five decades!
“An-ne, ”
Aren’t we eating ketupat
Together with kuih kapit,
Murukku and briyani
During every Eidul-Fitri?
“Bhai, ”
Yes, we are multi-coloured
But we are not little ducklings;
Don’t teach the ducks how to swim
Go fly kite, you such a wimp.

Amid all differences, there is only one clan... The Humans! But unfortunately politicians everywhere play racial cards and seed hatred among the people! You seem to be accustomed to all the cuisines of Indians with North Indian and South Indian dishes topping the list! A fantastic write!
