Please Stay
We vowed to each other
To always be
The best of friends
Just you and me
From the day we met
I knew it couldn't be
A change in heart
Only I could see
The thought of losing you
Never seemed to sway
Until I told you I love you
So you shrugged and turned away
I never thought I'd be here
Watching you walk away
My only wish was for you
Just you, to stay
