Plot Twist Poem by Samantha Blackman

Plot Twist

Beads of sweat rolled down my face as I fist pumped to the "womp womp womp" of the bass. In Karma, or any club for that matter, the only audible part of the club mixes were the thumping of the bass.
Tonight, I didn't even care. Karma had a special guest DJ from Europe or something. Everyone from around here (and even farther away) was here tonight. The club had almost no room to move around. The lyrics, "everyone in line for the bathroom, tryna get a line in the bathroom" by Miley Cyrus was very real tonight.
There were so many beautiful people here, but one in particular caught my eye. She was in a tight black dress, standing shyly to the side with a drink in hand. I guess she noticed I had been looking at her all night, because she started toward me.
"Hi, I'm Trish! " She giggled loudly in my ear.
"I'm Kyle, " I smiled.
She started to dance with me and we flirted for the remainder of the time at the club. I had never seen someone like her before. She was a ten in every aspect.
"What do you say we catch a cab and continue the party at my house? " Trish asked, still dancing to the music.
At this point, I knew I had too much to drink. I was no longer making my own decisions. Trish's hand guided me and we both stumbled out of the club into a cab.
I opened my eyes the next morning to unfamiliar surroundings. This was not my bed. I slowly came to realize that I went to a club last night. I was in a girl's house. I think her name was Trish.
I threw the covers off me and tried to navigate downstairs, still disoriented. I looked through the medicine cabinet to find something for my headache.
After I too the aspirin, I walked upstairs again, in an attempt to find Trish. I heard what I assumed was noise from the bathroom.
I was going to peek my head in to say good morning before I realized that Trish was using the bathroom standing up.
