Poem For Choder (Puppy Power) Poem by J.R. Kelly

Poem For Choder (Puppy Power)

Tea sipping,
sunny lounging
by the fountain.

I'm not alone.

You keep crowding me,
disturbing me,
erasing my ideas,
pushing nuisance to a new level.

Go away, I say!

Leave the games to Mommy,
let your sister articulate.

Cuddle my limbs tonight
and I'll apologize
for more than selfish behaviors.

Kiss me,
claw at my flesh,
shed your hairs
onto my apparel.

You're nearly as vital
as precious hydration.
