Poem For Jeffrey Poem by Ariel Miles

Poem For Jeffrey

I'm trippin'
Let me catch myself before I fall in love with him
This boy named Jeffrey
Calls me everything except my real name
Never ceases to amaze
Keeps a smile on my face....
He said I make him feel soft
But he's a real sweetheart
I'm glad to be his poptart, his onion, his curious whatever
His way with words is so appealing
He's kinda slick, real clever
He can hide in my closet
Until he's ready to come out
There's a spot in my bed for him
A pillow with his name on it
My spot is right next to him
laying down or holding hands
To be his girl or just good friends
He can pick and choose
As long as don't lose him
it's all good
Like I'm wearing a raincoat
during a storm
It's all hood
Get it?
He he
I'm kinda glad he likes my giggle
Butterflies in my gut
& my heart
He makes tingle
he has a lot of different interests
a lot of cool things that he's into
writing, skateboarding, bike riding
even nursing in the future...
Dear Heart,
There's this boy I really like right....
Let me introduce you.....
