Poem To Replace My Grandfather's Watch

Poem to replace my Grandfather's Watch

There is nothing wrong
with curiosity,
which aims to quench
the thirst of knowledge.
I carefully took apart
the workings
of the watch.
It was a most
enlightening exercise,
but panic pounded
in my heart:
I could not reassemble
my Grandfather's watch.
One great
and useful lesson
was learned:
Only do that
which is within
the bounds of skill
which I possess;
therefore, I write a poem
to replace
my Grandfather's watch.
