Poem - Your Memories Live Forever Within Your Souls Poem by David Boyce

We live this life right from the start,
All on borrowed time,
We come into this world with nothing,
Not a penny nor a dime.

Along the path of life we walk,
From very young we learn to talk,
And with many trials with little steps,
We gradually learn to walk in depth.

With lots of energy we run and burn,
Through schooling we start to learn,
In teams you try out lots of sports,
Then you take exams to test what you're taught.

You may meet the person,
You will love forever,
And start a family,
You can love together.

Until one day you finally need to close your eyes,
And your living body starts to die,
You hope together you completed your goals,
And your memories live forever within your souls.
