Poems And Words Poem by Maureen Alikor

Poems And Words

Poets and words.
Words and poets.
One of a kind,

Words
by poets
build
skyscrapers
of dreams
on the platform
of time
and forgotten
memories.

Poets
and words,
a union so
loose
yet so tight,
like a mother
her infant child.

Poets and words
words and poets,
and poet's words.

These two;
infectious
yet liberating,
a die-hard
hunger for one
another.

Poets and words,
words and poets.
One of a kind.
