Poems At Midnight

(Boy) The night is darkest before the dawn.

(Girl) But what if its always dark?
If im always alone on this path?
and i never see any stars?
and all i want to do is lay down,
on the cold hard floor?

(Boy) I can walk with you on the path,
Provide the light,
so you know where you are going,
and the warmth when you feel cold.

(Girl) But I like the cold,
and i am not used to the light,
and i cant walk far....
