Poems inspired by
those of the Tang and Sung Dynasties (1)
For so many long years I've waited
winters and springs have goodbye bidden
by the shore I lonely wandered
my heart was sorely broken-
all my letters she never did open
though to the end of time love she did vow
to the West Lake Monastery I travelled not to return
she would meet a monk if she were to appear now
