Poet Poem by Dorsey Baker

Poet

Rating: 2.5

Pushing himself
against the wind with
heavy rain hitting him in the face
a blanket of darkness
falls upon him
way before the sun goes down
Dark angry demons
scream and shout their bitter scorn!
his fragile body
left shaking from the pain
mind in a state of electric shock
coming to the conclusion
that reality
might just be another form
of illusion
seeking understanding
but only finding confusion!
