Poet's Truth



Through a crystal portrait
you see
Someone I'm not.

Its time to write honest lines.
its time you know
the true me that
distorted through the crystal was.

May the crystal portrait shatter
and the truth be told.
For I cannot write
but the truth that lies
in my own heart.
