Saw it on a bumper sticker
"I'm always there where no one dares"
That's how the poet fares

A person of disinterest
While the whole matters
Who stops it when it shatters
With words of a mad hatter

Not a businessman
Getting every penny's worth
And can see what souls will unearth

Not a politician
Who promises a lot
And delivers whatever he's got

The poet stands the ground
Sometimes, without a battle bound
But knows that there is sound
In the wind and he's the voice to be found

The poet just stands there
He goes where others fear to fare
Because words can limit
Or words deliver on a dare
