Poetry Poem by gauri vyas

Poetry

you dream of winning that award
Right there, you dream it all
In your head, your standing there
On a stool
You take a paper out of your shelf
That kept lying for days over twelve
But you adjust your hair
And start to practice the speech
You wrote when you were not even seventeen
When you never even thought that you could read
It just feels it's all dream
And now you're really on a stage
life was never easy but you're here anyway
You speak the speech,
You hold that dream,
Don't be mean
Come out clean,
Speak that speech
And hold your dream.
