Poetry Is My Escape Poem by Belinda Richmond

When I write poetry,

It's my escape from Reality.

It's allows me to be set free, and 

enables me to just be Me.

Poetry allows me to Explore,

to Reach higher heights and 

so much more.

Poetry allows me to broaden 

my horizons, to share my 

gifts with others, it just

 feels so amazing.

It allows me to travel to 

many places, share a laugh,

 encouraging words and

 bring smiles to many faces.

poetry is my escape to let me be,

to release my talent and let it 

flow out of me

poetry are words formed

 from pen to paper,

 a mind full of expressions,

a gift to savor.
