Poetry Is Not Just Words
POETRY IS NOT JUST WORDS
When there is no inner music
There is no poetry
Poetry is not just words
Poetry is not just sentences of meaning
Poetry makes us feel more
Than ordinary language can.
Therefore many of my poems
Are not poetry
And I am a very sometime poet
Who is most of the time
Not really a poet at all.
