Poets And Rascals Don't Mix Poem by Melikhaya Zagagana

Poets And Rascals Don't Mix

I the poet say none to it
Life is your life
I have none for you
With ears full of sand
And eyes blinded by mist
Let me be and find your way
Though dear I say be gone
And hasten to walk
That life of you
Shall be back for you
Come not at me
With the head of stone
When the sun downs at noon
And the bucket breaks at your head
When dark light the night
Far from you I will be
You and my time come to waste
Rascals fade in ruin
And poets lead the sun
