Poison Ivy Poem by Tulay Beyhan

Poison Ivy

I
I stand tall and strong
while your leaves surrond me.
Starting from my knees,
you wrap me like a second skin.
You touch me here and there,
You envelope me,
Poisonous ivy.
II
Fascinated,
I stand there
As your branches
Hug me from any possible curves
Of mine.
No, i do not scream or shout!
With my eyes closed firmly,
I only am pleased by your grip on mine.
III
Scratching, scratching, scratching!
Worse than a dog!
But i still stand there,
Stroked by your leaves.
Love,
You.
Your love is a poisonous ivy,
It gives a warm surronding
alond the damn scratching!
EEEEEKKKKK! ! ! !
