Loved this poem from the first brilliant lines Should a warming air let winter slip and thaw the rime that crusted hard the snowdrift seal around the pond, every rip out on the ice, every scar and then the observation of human interaction with nature sold this poem for me with the lines from battles waged with sticks and shouts and sharpened blades, disregards the time of year and melts a bit. and thus I skated in to vote 10++ wonderful :)
