Poor Jealous Pooch Poem by Marilyn Lott

Poor Jealous Pooch

Oh please why don’t you pet me?
Don’t just pet the cat
I’m handsome and I’m loving
You can see just where I’m at
I know so many tricks you see
That cat could never do
If you’ll pay me some attention
I’ll give a slurp to you
I know that you would love me
If you’d just give it a try
So put that silly cat down
Or you’re gonna make me cry
I’m starting to get jealous
You really need to know
I’ll give you one more chance
Or I might just have to go!
