Poor Like A Diomond Poem by Margret Brown

Poor Like A Diomond

I have a place to write
A place where I don't have to fight
Someone can hear my inner voice
Where I don't loose my choice

Lost on oceans and forests
The world so vast
Can I find my way
Should I try

Where should I walk
Can I talk
I live as life goes on
I try to make it fun

I have all the power in my hands
Yet God is running the world
Who am I
Poor like a diamond

So blessed but if i see it
Guide me
So i can walk into the right direction
Give me some affection
I want to wake up

My soul needs light
Can you hear my plight
It seems black and white
It's Allright

I hear moms loving voice
You'll be alright dear daughter
I'll be alright
My soul can sing

It's a beautful world if only I can see it
I'm shy and quite I won't talk alot
My heart is racing my head is pounding
I will write my story
