Portland Storm Poem by Deviant Greed

Portland Storm

Wind Howling,
Rain spattering against the roof.

Dark skies rumbling,
Clouds gathering,
Trees shaking,
Ice forming on the roads.

Power out,
Candles lit,
Neigborhood as black as the sky.

911 Overflowing,
Paniced people,
Roads closed,
Radio On,
Media telling us to stay inside while Mother Nature rages.
