Portrait Of Truth Poem by Shirley Harrison

Portrait Of Truth

And as I sweep my modest paintbrush, over this canvas

I find myself painting a picture
of everything you mean to me

but then, pausing for thought

suddenly I realize…

there's just not a canvas

in this world that's big enough.
