Post Lunch Orchard Story Poem by Upendra Majhi

A long tailed parrot
on the red leaf nut tree.
silently walking mapping each inch,
camouflaging its red beak
in the shade of red leaf,
its green wing in green leaf,
pluckedtwo nuts,
both fell to earth,
one more.held tight in beak,
using its left leg
peeled off with care and ate,
I saw the skin fell to earth,
tree was shedding its red leaves
one by one, it being spring.
tree said to parrot,
take care and hide your red beak,
for there will be no red leaf,
God's real grammar of creation is this.
