Posture Dimension Poem by Ted Hamilton

Posture Dimension

preserved in posture dimension
we find ourselves
given to nondescript walls
enclosing countless hallways
for the occasional study:
reminders of Life
as once thrived
stand we now, stilled
upon forever familiar ground...
facial expressions;
personal postures from an immediate moment
to endless years
across innumerable transportations;
given to destiny's presentation
(songs of the ghosted, weep silent)
dreaming sepia...
