Power Of Art Poem by Chukwuebuka Adebayo

Power Of Art

My painter friend, taiwo had that skill,
Imagination and beauty with just a quill.
We sat together, side by side—
She could turn simple art to breathtaking glide.

With brush in hand, she could create,
A masterpiece that will captivate.
Colors blend and shapes took form,
Her talent was truly beyond world's norm.

A surprise how those bold lines were drafted,
Each canvas deliberate, each detail crafted.
Her passion shone in every stroke,
As the painting comes to life, it's no joke.

I learned from her the power of art,
To express emotions, to mend a heart.
Through her work, I saw the world anew,
Her paintings speaking words so true.

I and my painter friend, a perfect pair,
One day she threw my heart into thin air.
When she invited me into her door.
Told me she is never in the job any more
