Yet no authority
Are all I have as youth
It's reality
Regardless
I can't help with your situation
At most
My support is simple conversation
With a controlling
And manipulative mother
Who listens to her own word
And no other
All for
An honored 'A'
And not a care in the world
For what you have to say
Full of rage
There's not a damn thing I can do
Except hug and kiss you
And say 'I love you'
