Prairie Sunset Poem by Ella Olson

Prairie Sunset

The brilliance of the sun
Through red hue so bright.
Across the western sky
Is changing in the light.

We watch and wonder why
The beauty that one sees.
Is slowly descending
Behind a bluff of trees.

The sun disappears slowly
The color fades from sight.
The wind now blows calmly
And ushers in the night.

I love this, Ella. So vivid. I have done a poem called Prairie Fire. I'd love to get your views on it. Love Daniel
