Pray And Guns. Poem by Marcondes Pereira

Pray And Guns.

I prayed waiting for peace and sunflowers,
But I saw soldiers, guns and money's towers.
I prayed waiting for better times,
But I saw madness and wicked crimes.
I prayed waiting for justice,
But I saw blue violence.
