Your word says that “he that finds a wife finds a good thing and
obtains favor from the Lord.”
—Proverbs 18: 22
O Lord my God, Eternal Rock of Ages, the Ancient of Days,
Help me, my God, find my future partner. This I ask in confidence.
You ordained fruitfulness from the moment a man finds a wife.
You ordained the institution of marriage.
You ordained multiplication from the beginning.
I pray, O Lord my God, that I will not choose my spouse myself.
Lord Jesus, choose for me a man or a woman after Your heart.
You know everyone better than I do, and I believe that whosoever You
choose for me will be the right choice. Bless me with a spouse who
will fear and serve You in truth and in spirit.
I want a spouse who is truthful, upright, faithful, trustworthy, loyal,
pure, prayerful, sincere, noble, and a spouse who will lift me up
when I’m down.
Mold the person, and get me ready for him or her, my God.
Complete all that is needed to be done, and perfect all the meetings to
Your glory.
Begin to draw us closer to You and to know and to see the goodness of
the Lord our God.
You can do all things, my God. Nothing is too difficult for You, my
Redeemer.
I thank You for answering my prayers while I wait patiently and expectantly.
