Prayer For Promotion - Poem by Enoch O. Akanji

My Father and my God, You are the God of promotion. I will lift up
mine hands unto You, the Most High God, the possessor of heaven
and earth, the only One who can make me joyful.
Almighty God, promotion is not from the east, west, south, or the north
but from You, mighty Lord God.
Almighty God, move me from mountain of promise to the mountain
of fulfillment and fulfill all Your promises in my life. You are a
covenant-keeping God, and there is no one like You. The Alpha and
the Omega, there is no one like You.
Advancement is not of man but of You, Lord God Almighty. You are very
kind, merciful, and generous. Promotion is advancement of rank or
position in an organizational hierarchy system, and You alone have
the power to promote me my Father and my God.
Father, promote me to a greater height. Promote me to the next level,
and cause my joy to be full.
You are the God of mercy. Be merciful unto me, and let me receive favor
in Your sight.
My God, promote me as a reward for my service to You, not only at my
job but also in Your house and in the journey of my life. Make my
work prosperous so that I will not labor in vain.
Give me the grace to be able to handle the added responsibilities. Prosper
the work of my hands for Your glory. You have in the past loaded me
THE MAGNIFICENT 333 PRAYERS 43
with Your benefits. Continue to bless me all the days of my life, and
never leave me nor forsake me.
Enlarge my surroundings, and let Your mighty hand be with me and
continue to uphold me all the days of my life. My God, increase my
benefits and other privileges, and I will continue to serve You more
all the days of my life.
Lord, let glory and honor be my portion in the name of Jesus. My God,
You have been my shield and Protector, and I thank You for lifting
my head up continually.
You are the God that answers prayers. Answer me by fire, in the mighty
name of Jesus. Amen.
