Prayer For Friends - Poem by Remedios Villanueva Miguel

Dear Lord, I thank Thee for my friends you gave,
The precious moments spent without frowns
The companionship we all have shared,
The tears and smiles we all have shown.
Let me see, let me ever greet
With a friendly smile those whom I meet!
Grant that I find new friends each succeeding day
And make me worthy of them, Lord I pray.
Dear Lord, when from this life we'll leave,
From my dear friends, separate me not;
When we'll pass away to the Great Beyond
Call us to Thy heavenly Throne so grand.
