Precious Is Your Love (Sonnet #141) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Precious Is Your Love (Sonnet #141)

Farewell I say to my old self and old days,
Stances are the Autumn of relations,
As leaves, people fall away; yet others stay
Fighting with us foes and stormy oceans.

Genuine hearts are rare as blue diamonds,
True love, void from interest, is scarce,
If you share with a lover a strong bond,
Hold on tight to them, rare are those who care.

O soulmate, pure and precious is your love,
You're the candle of hope in my worst time
You believe in me, love wins, we take off
To the unseen realms of the soul, entwined.

While climbing the slope of growth, I found you
Delving deep at my core, I see now but you.
