Prelude Poem by Nona Vaught

Prelude

Row boats gliding on water

Lazy fish swimming below

Oars trickling with heavy drops,

Chance to lean back now and rest.

Fingers caress the surface

Rag-doll limp, sighing, sighing

Idly rocking, lullaby

To quiet the restless mind.

I'm feeling no stress, no stress

I'm feeling no stress, no stress
