Prettier Than Fireworks Poem by Ralph Stephen Dolog

Prettier Than Fireworks

It was a night to remember
for the two of us,
One of the precious moments
in our life, that passed.

A thousand stars surround
us in the park
As my heart beat so fast
we were on the dark.

That was the waited time
for us to get real.
That was the only moment
to unload what we feel.

I stated all,
everything you should know.
I gave my all,
everything I could show.

You've kissed my lips
but embraced me goodbye.
You're the only woman
who brought that high.

We saw a hundred fireworks
sparks towards the sky
But not a single firework
was as sparkling as your eyes.

Now I'm alone in this park
and now lots of fireworks fly
but still no single firework
Could replace the light in your eyes.
