Pretty Girl. Poem by Sabrina Sturges

Pretty Girl.

I know this pretty girl.
Who looks terrible when she crys.
I know this pretty girl.
The world is different in her eyes.
She says what she can.
And does what she does.
But it makes no diference to the one she loves.
She thinks about him all the time.
But its not really him.
She thinks the words that he says.
But slightly changes them.
She hears what she wants to hear.
And listens to no other words.
She doesn't know how to tell him.
How she truely feels.
So she goes with this hurt.
Hoping that it heals.
One day he may know she really does love him.
Also he may know that these thoughts are growing thin.
She wants to tell oh so bad but doesn't know how to say.
All the things shes thinking that come day by day.
Do you know this pretty girl she asks herself everyday.
Yes I do she replies we never tear away.
You may ask who may this be.
Well I may answer, this is me.
