With so much on your mind
Could you spare me a little of your time?
I just wanna listen to see what hidden treasures i can find
I dont know you very well but id like to
I was told take a chance by something deep inside
Hey pretty lady i read the words that came from your heart
A beautiful poet and then some
I admire your poems the feeling you put into each one
Its a shame your hearts been torn apart
If anything maybe ill find a broken piece
And put it back to make your heart that much whole again
Even if i dont its okay
Im just happy a little time was spared
It put a small piece of my own heart back in its place
Hey pretty lady
Can you spare me a smile?
I like the way that it lights up the room
And gives a feeling that everything will be
ok
Make me a promise? Dont ever lose it ever.
Youll need it when love comes your way
Kinda like my heart when love comes my way
Each beat is stronger than the last
