Pretty Little Me. Poem by paige daniels

Pretty Little Me.

Pretty little me.
i sit here and read a book.
my dad walks in from work
he says don't talk to me i have
had a bad day.
he goes in to the kitchen and
gets a glass of wine.
one after another....
i want to say say daddy please stop drinking.
but i cant i am scared to see what he is going to say
so i say ''daddy i love you'' i am going to go to bed.
he takes his hands and hits me in the face.
calling me all kinds of names.
next thing i know i am on the ground with him standing over
me telling me how worthless i am.
he has never been like this he tells me that i am his perfect little princess
and nothing will ever change that.
but something has. i wonder what i can do? ?
but there is nothing that i can do.
so i just lay there saying to myself
pretty little me.

Wow! ! ! This is surely a great compose...My whole body's shaking after reading it...Well, tell me one thing - Do u write on yiur real life, or on imagination? ? ? Or on both - just like me? ? ? Surely this poem of yours can be a heart-touching lyric for a pop or even a rock song...I appreciate it... And another question...please don't mind: R u a female? Don't get me wrong, but I'm simply asking as I'm perplexed after reading your poem...Please let me know about your whereabouts...please... Keep up the good work, & keep in touch! ! ! : -) With regards, Stephen... +91-98543-37824
