Poem by: Comrade Senemede Abel Opeyemi
I traveled far to the realm of economics, where hypotheses abound,
And numbers decided
I traveled to studied
A department, with knowledge profound.
The study of choices, money, numbers, and trade,
In this Lasued haven, national economists are made.
I learned many reasons we kept on looking for Y and X,
And why numbers decided the fate of many firms
I learned that supply and demand, the cornerstone of trade,
Determining prices, the decisions that are made.
Microeconomics focuses on individuals' choices,
While macroeconomics studies broader voices.
From Adam Smith's invisible hand to Keynesian thought,
Theories and models are passionately sought.
They analyze incentives, externalities, and more,
To understand the dynamics of economic lore.
