Princess Poem by Brandon Owens

Princess

Somewhere under the veil
The Princess or a peasant
Believed in fairy tales
When it was more pleasant
Frost over the distance
Off into the sunset
Set a horizon of happiness
These days uncounted
The future is less hesitant
The past is forgotten
Burdens vain in silence
The emboldened scene
She was a Princess
I'm a man turned King
The woman beside, a Queen

You know, the Queen of Hearts was always your best bet, especially since you're the King of Hearts. I love reading your poetry, and I don't have to tell you not to stop, cause I know you won't. Love you.
