Princess Poem by Meghan S.E Newton

Princess

Rating: 4.0

Lounging in the palace slumber with no significant meaning,
The princess waits patiently for her brother's upheaving,
But for that she shall be waiting for the rest of her endulgent life,
Proving only to be useful in becoming a royal wife,
Born into a heritage God blessed with limitless power,
The princess feels weak and isolated as she cowers,
Cowers from the male hand of superiourity,
Realises right then that she is merely a commodity,
Her intelligence and wits would rule gracefully throughout the land,
The incentive running through her head as she grips the dagger in her hand.
