Princess Charming Poem by Alejandro Torres

Princess Charming

It’s not in me
Where you find your peace
It’s the struggle you live for
It’s the fight you want
But I’m the Princess Charming
Trying to sweep you off your feet
Is it because I’m no Prince
Is it because there’s always a price
Come on, Baby
You know you want it
Map the curves
To a body that could be yours
With fingers of fire
With a tongue of silk
Traverse the universe of this heart
You know you want a home
On you I find
The peace of lifetimes not gained
For sins never committed
No one will ever know
Why Princess Charming waits
For the girl in her tower
Mind the barriers
She puts them up herself
A powerful soul she must posses
To captivate a restless wanderer
Such as myself
Soak myself in the inner folds
Of her figure
Of her mind
Grab mid-thigh
Displace the crown
We come crashing down
From her tower
Up so high
Her home
My heart
This incredible drug
This wonderful thing
This love
